My US travel visa expired a few months ago, so I needed to fly down to Sydney to apply for another multi-year visa. Since I was heading that way, I decided to stay a couple of days for leisure. The last time I was in Sydney was 2003, a good 4 years ago.

Instead of staying at a hotel, we decided to stay at a brand spanking new self-catering apartment complex called Meriton at Kent that was just opened in early 2007. Here are some photos for the interior and the panoramic view. I will highly recommend this place to any travelers to Sydney. We paid about AUD 220 for a two-bedroom apartment, while a 4-star hotel studio room with no kitchen cost around AUD 250 in comparable locations.

Coming back to Brisbane!

October 17  I decided to practice my low-light technique by exploring the night scenes of the City.
