Another new project viewing date. Tempo, a project situated right behind my complex, is also finished by the same developer. Unlike Flow it doesn't have the river frontage, but is still classified as a riverside development.

August 15 What is the most popular weekend past time of Hong Kong people? Shopping? Well, that's an answer, if spending money is obligatory. However, for those who don't want to spend a penny, there's always this other kind of window shopping - attending open houses of new residential projects. Since I am originally from Hong Kong, I will need to live up to my roots - so I am always very eager to check out new residential projects along the Brisbane River, particularly if it is located along the West End riverside.

Flow is a new project by the same developer, Pradella, of my current home, whom I trust. This is in fact by far the best residential project that I've ever lived in throughout my life in China, Hong Kong and Australia. What I particularly appreciate is the thoughtful architectural design going into the building, as if the architect is bound to live here himself (or herself). Unlike Hong Kong developers that load up the public space with granite, marble, faux Roman pillars and Swarovski crystal chandelier in public space but design apartments like an after-thought, the Aussie developers are much more down-to-earth and practical. We have none of the wow factors in our public space, but the architect wisely chooses the right materials for the right occasion, making the comfort and luxury rather understated.

However, I am not too keen on the architectural design of their latest project, Flow, although I love the location, view and quality of finish just as much as mine. I visited the site and took several photos.
